Surgical Technician Position at Detroit Medical Center

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in the operating room, assisting surgeons and medical staff in providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist surgeons and medical staff in the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies, adhering to strict sterile protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
- Participate in pre- and post-operative patient care, providing emotional support and assistance as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) highly desirable.
- 1-2 years of experience as a surgical technician preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
