Key Responsibilities- Assist with the physical care of residents, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and mobility support.
- Document patient care and observations in real-time.
- Communicate any changes in a resident's condition to the Licensed Nurse promptly.
- Facilitate dining experiences by preparing residents for meals, serving food, and assisting with feeding as needed.
- Transport residents to scheduled therapy sessions.
- Engage residents in recreational and social activities.
- Respond promptly to call lights and provide necessary assistance.
- Conduct regular rounds to anticipate and address resident needs.
- Uphold residents' rights, ensuring their comfort, privacy, and dignity.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain professional appearance.
- Participate in continuing education to enhance clinical skills.
This role operates in a post-acute care setting, requiring mobility throughout the facility and interaction with residents who may have contagious conditions.
Physical RequirementsThe position is physically demanding, requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting items over 60 pounds regularly.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course.
- Valid state CNA license and current BLS (CPR) certification.
- Preferred: Minimum of one year of experience in a CNA role.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
