Job Summary:
DePaul is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide/Home Health Aide (PCA/HHA) to join our team. As a PCA/HHA, you will provide direct personal care and assistance to residents, promoting their independence, self-respect, and personal dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care for each resident assigned, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Observe residents for any change in condition and report to the Supervisor-In-Charge.
- Assist with maintaining a safe environment, including daily bed making and scheduled bed linen changes.
- Assist with meal service and provide eating assistance as necessary.
- Document all services provided to residents as indicated on the Aide Activity Sheet.
- Assist the Activities Director with planned activities and encourage residents to participate.
Requirements:
- Must be able to provide appropriate PCA/HHA certification as required by New York State.
- Must have the required references and criminal record check.
- Must have annual TB screening and Health Assessment completed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
