About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at SilganCareers. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal production levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on fabrication equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues with equipment, using troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth production processes and meet quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inventory management and quality control data
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong technical skills, including electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights, as required
