We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Care Specialist - Autism Support to join our team at The May Institute Inc. in Hadley, MA.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. As a Behavioral Care Specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide individualized support and implement evidence-based interventions. Your role will involve:

  • Developing and implementing behavior intervention plans in collaboration with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Providing one-on-one support to clients, promoting communication, social, and daily living skills development
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve exceptional outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and practices
  • Experience working with individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike
  • A willingness to learn and grow professionally, with a passion for delivering high-quality care
