About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced RN to provide expert clinical guidance and support to our nursing staff. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting evidence-based practice, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing the overall quality of care.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The salary for this role is approximately $93,000-$115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to nursing staff
  • Promote evidence-based practice and improve patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff
  • Conduct quality improvement initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a pediatric setting
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut (or eligible)
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
