We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Senior Staff Accountant to join our team in Irvine, CA. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our clients through the audit process, while also supporting our internal leaders with the growth of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls
  • Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up
  • Develop a deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards
  • Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines
  • Interact with clients to ensure efficient information flow from the client to the audit team
  • Communicate with clients, management, and managing directors on work status and client issues
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in a relevant position
  • Public accounting or other professional services environment preferred
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's in Accounting (for Audit or Tax)
  • Masters degree or 150 credits completed, in designated states
  • Actively working toward passing the CPA Exam, or relevant certification for respective discipline as soon as possible, if certification is not already attained
  • Must maintain required CPE credits annually

A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $65,000 to $90,000.
