Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SUPPORT NURSE - LPN to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As a Support Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the best patient care possible by assisting nursing personnel and providing quality-nursing care to residents.

About the Role
This is a full-time position, working days, with occasional evening or weekend shifts. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be responsible for delegating duties to non-licensed nursing personnel, monitoring performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and preparing work schedules as needed.

Responsibilities
* Assist nursing personnel (including charge nurse and Director of Nursing) on a specified unit during their assigned work hours.
* May be required to take call for staffing coverage.
* Delegate duties to non-licensed nursing personnel and monitor performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
* Prepare work schedules as needed and assist with infection control for the unit.
* Assist with lab requests as ordered per facility policy using appropriate techniques, repost lab work as ordered on unit, review results, and notify attending MD per established policies, protocols, and physician orders.

Requirements
* Must be a high school graduate
* Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, with a current, valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in North Carolina and submit proof of license renewal.
* Must be CPR certified yearly and attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$75,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
