Sleep Technologist

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking a qualified RPSGT to join our team in the DC area.
Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced RPSGT to work in our busy sleep laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating sleep studies, collecting data, and analyzing results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in polysomnography and be certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
Responsibilities:- Facilitate sleep studies and collect data
- Prepare equipment, record activities, and analyze results
- Follow proper polysomnographic procedures, including the use of electrodes, sensors, and calibration of equipment
- Analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data for further review
- Comply with regulations and laws concerning safety control
- High School diploma or higher education level
- Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
- Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
- Current BCLS certification
- Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required

- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
