Assistant Branch Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at WaFd Bank. As a key member of our branch leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the manager and performing managerial duties in their absence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Proactively seek new business relationships and opportunities to expand our client base.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational effectiveness and profitability.
- Communicate effectively with staff and clients to ensure excellent customer service.
- Assist the manager in meeting branch production goals and ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a financial institution, with prior banking experience and sales or client relations skills.
- Strong math skills, 10-key, and keyboarding abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with superior written and oral communication skills.
- Valid driver's license, satisfactory transportation, and adequate insurance coverage.
