Position Overview:
The Materials Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of materials and components within the production environment. This position requires a keen understanding of documentation, production timelines, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Comprehend and adhere to the Components Group documentation, production schedules, and inventory reports.
• Manage the ordering and scheduling of components from various internal departments, including Machine Shop, Chemical, Stockroom, and Molding.
• Maintain accurate weekly schedules and records to track releases, completions, and shortages.
• Issue and kit materials for production or outsourcing as needed.
• Process and submit material-related workflows promptly.
• Expedite purchasing and coordinate with internal suppliers and material planners as necessary.
• Communicate any schedule delays or material-related issues effectively.
• Oversee the processing and routing of materials during stock purges.
• Implement changes in documentation and materials resulting from engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Provide necessary production materials to various departments.
• Create and maintain production prints and planning files for support areas, including Machine Shop, Chemical, Stockroom, and Molding, as well as Lot Control for specific contracts.
Administrative Duties:
• Administer material transfer requests efficiently.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ERP systems and possess basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Assist in the training and cross-training of team members.
• Participate in accounting audits related to work-in-progress (WIP) and stockroom audits.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
• This position is 100% onsite and is a temporary role that may lead to a permanent offer based on organizational needs.
• Work hours are Monday through Thursday (9 hours) and Friday (4 hours), with flexible start times between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM.
• Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is competitive and will vary based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

• A valid driver's license and the required minimum vehicle insurance coverage are necessary for driving onto company property.
