About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Installer II to join our team at TEL Staffing. As an Avionics Installer II, you will play a critical role in the removal and installation of avionics electrical components, fabrication of wire harnesses, and testing of avionics/electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of work completed.
  • Ensure that work is completed within the allotted time frame and meets applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Conduct thorough checks to ensure a defective-free assembly prior to final inspection.
  • Comply with company safety regulations, including the FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or two (2) years related work experience required, or an avionics certificate from an accredited school and (1) year of related work experience.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Familiarity with all types of wire terminations and wire routing.
  • Corporate aircraft experience preferred.
Additional Functions
  • Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, such as YIAW and Kaizen events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
