Job Summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Avionics/Electrical Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex avionics and electrical systems on our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform technical expertise in testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.
  2. Implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety or quality.
  3. Fill in for the Senior Avionics/Electrical Technician as needed, ensuring that company goals of safety and quality are enforced at all times.
Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. Four (4) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field, or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years related experience.
  3. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
  4. Other FCC and NCATT certifications preferred.
Additional Information

This is a full-time position with a first shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams, and be able to climb stairs and ladders, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 pounds.
