Forte Dynamics Inc., a distinguished consulting and engineering organization specializing in mineral resource evaluation, mine planning, blasting analysis, metallurgy, process design, recovery modeling, and comprehensive engineering services, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Metallurgical Engineer to enhance their innovative team.

Compensation: Attractive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $160,000+ along with additional benefits, determined by the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Work Schedule: Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of client metallurgical data and provide expert technical guidance
  • Lead small to medium-scale projects as a project manager
  • Support all project phases including planning, design, execution, and operational support
  • Ensure that quality, schedule, budget, and safety objectives are achieved through proactive project management
  • Work collaboratively with various disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Contribute to the engineering design process from initial scoping to execution
  • Oversee metallurgical laboratory testing operations
  • Perform metallurgical balance assessments for mining activities
  • Engage in project cost estimation and documentation
  • Assist in the development of project specifications, drawings, and proposals
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project proposals
  • Participate in equipment procurement and quality assurance during project construction
  • Prioritize safety in all design and construction initiatives
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, Process, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Significant engineering experience in relevant sectors
  • Experience in laboratory testing is beneficial
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Background in mineral processing, mining, or related industries is preferred
  • Experience with base metals or industrial minerals is advantageous
  • Familiarity with mineral processing operations and construction
  • Strong skills in process modeling and simulation
  • Proven project management capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Able to excel in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliability and a strong commitment to work ethics
