Job Summary

Cone Health Employee Health & Wellness is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient transport as necessary, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for our patients.
  • Consistently complete all exams and documentation in our electronic health record system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Identify and address errors related to final product being sent to our picture archiving and communication system (PACS).
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safe practices and support our Just Culture initiative.
  • Exemplify our service excellence standards through the use of AIDET and service recovery techniques.
  • Perform routine and special exams consistent with established protocols, minimizing repeat examinations and ensuring exam productivity meets established benchmarks.

Qualifications

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, and graduation from an accredited Radiology, Imaging, or related educational program.
  • Required: 0-1 years of experience in healthcare as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Required: ARRT (RT-R) certification and successful completion of the CT/MR Registry within 12 months of accepting this position.
  • Required: BLS (CPR) certification from the American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting as a Radiologic Technologist.

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
