Radiology Imaging Specialist
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at the University of Vermont Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures in the operating room and radiology department.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the operating room and radiology department, including fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI scans.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
- Assist in the clinical instruction of radiography students and provide guidance to new hires and other hospital personnel as needed.
- Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be available for call on a rotational basis.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT.
- ARRT certified and licensed with the State of Vermont.
- CPR certified.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the OR and radiology field, preferred.
This is an evening position with a rotation of every other weekend. Call is required.
