About the Position: Barton Community College is seeking a highly skilled Director of OSHA Training Institute Education Center and Occupational Safety and Health Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the OTIEC operates in accordance with industry standards and regulations. You will also have the opportunity to develop and deliver training programs, supervise faculty and staff, and collaborate with regional partners.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for occupational safety and health professionals.
  • Collaborate with regional partners to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to OTIEC and OSH program faculty and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Teach courses and conduct workshops as required.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or closely related field.
• 2-5 years of similar or related work experience with a significant percentage of duties devoted to overseeing safety in the workplace.
• Current OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer certification.
• Experience teaching adults in a training/academic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with supervisors and supervise others.
• Good driving record and ability to pass a background check.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
