Cardiovascular Disease Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Noninvasive Cardiologist to join our team at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. As a key member of our Division of Cardiology, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, conducting innovative research, and contributing to the education and mentorship of students, residents, and fellows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality clinical care to patients at Parkland and UT Southwestern Hospitals
- Develop and conduct independent clinical or population science research programs in cardiovascular disease
- Contribute to clinical and research training and mentorship of students, residents, and fellows
- Apply for research funding and spend approximately 70% of time conducting research
Requirements:
- MD degree or equivalent from an approved LCME medical school
- Satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program from an ACGME accredited program
- Eligibility for Texas medical licensure
- Board certification in Internal Medicine and board certification/eligibility in Cardiology
