Job Title: Fee Basis Cardiologist/Interventionalist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fee Basis Cardiologist/Interventionalist to join our team at the Dallas VA Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have expertise in structural heart interventions, including TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and paravalvular leak closures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex cardiovascular procedures, including structural heart interventions
  • Provide inpatient consultations and critical care coverage
  • Interpret echocardiograms and participate in call coverage
  • Supervise and teach fellows, residents, and mid-level providers

Requirements:

  • Board certification in cardiovascular disease and board certification or eligibility in interventional cardiology
  • Experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and paravalvular leak closures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Work Schedule: Intermittent, as needed. Fee Basis; pays based on the specific task or service provided.
