Job Summary

The LAL Manufacturing Packaging Assembler I will focus on fully understanding the company's technology and executing each process step while achieving target throughput and meeting quality standards.

This individual will interact with other functions, including Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning, to contribute to the overall packaging of the LAL lenses and RMAs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Sterilization Packaging
  • Label Production
  • Foil Sorting & Pouching of Lenses
  • Final Lens Assembly & Packaging
  • ERP system work order data entry and closure
  • Training of manufacturing personnel on packaging processes

Employees may also train and be asked to execute activities beyond this job description, while working toward a certification of an already established job description within the department function.

This role places a higher level of responsibility for the individual to ensure proper training, execution, and mastery of processes within the area assigned.


Requirements
  • Minimum of associate degree or three to five years related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience on medical devices
  • Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system

The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy, and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 15 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis.
