Job Summary:

As a Senior Assembler in our R&D department, you will be responsible for the assembly or sub-assembly of medical devices and products in a more senior position under limited supervision. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the finished quality of the product in accordance with our quality system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize written and verbal instructions to assemble and package products
• Record data associated with the building of products on build records and quality documents
• Meet quality standards and perform job functions within production standards on 5+ operations
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to perform special assembly requests
• Act as a backup in supervisory or lead roles

Requirements:

• Ability to perform small and detailed assembly work using a microscope, vision system, and related automated equipment
• Strong communication skills in English to read work instructions and provide feedback to supervisors related to production issues
• Ability to provide training to certified operators and audit operator performance related to documentation
• Knowledge of mathematics to support production needs
• Knowledge in measuring techniques to perform product quality assessments
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow company procedures as written
• High school diploma or equivalent
• General knowledge of clean room procedures
• Previous experience in microscope assembly in a medical device industry
• Preferably 3+ years of experience in medical device assembly and/or packaging of products
