Key Responsibilities- Execute structural engineering tasks as assigned by the Project Manager, ensuring adherence to design quality and responsiveness to client requirements.
- Perform calculations and structural analyses for various materials, including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate structural engineering activities.
- Address complex challenges, such as conflicting design specifications and unconventional material requirements.
- Create detailed drawings for your designs and provide sketches for integration into technician drawings.
- Investigate design alternatives and document findings for the Project Engineer.
- Review shop drawings and research relevant code issues.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure compliance with design standards.
- Keep the Project Manager updated on workload and any changes in project scope.
- Foster ongoing communication to address project modifications, design challenges, or budget constraints.
- Utilize your experience to enhance product quality, identify issues, and communicate impacts to the team.
- Assist the Project Engineer with project management and administrative tasks.
- Provide data for budget evaluations and project billing.
- Prepare progress reports and project correspondence.
Candidates must possess a BS degree in a relevant field.
We seek individuals with a minimum of 3 years of experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete design, along with proficiency in using Ram Structural System.
