About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and ensuring the success of every group function. As a Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for liaising between multiple departments to ensure seamless execution of events, while modeling exceptional service and leadership skills among your team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Banquet team in all aspects of the department, ensuring service standards are followed and exceeded.
  • Address guest concerns and react quickly and professionally to ensure a positive experience.
  • Train colleagues on service standards and ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
  • Balance operational, administrative, and colleague needs to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Work closely with the Culinary and Stewarding team to ensure all banquet meeting requirements are in place.
  • Collaborate with the Conference Services & Catering department to maximize revenues and guest satisfaction levels.
  • Assist in managing departmental equipment and inventory.
  • Attend BEO meetings and communicate clearly and effectively any changes to the team.
  • Maintain accurate records for all beverage consumption and inventory during events and beverage storage.
  • Ability to answer questions and relay information between client and culinary.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure events are successful.
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
Requirements:
  • Previous leadership experience in food and beverage required.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required.
  • University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
Physical Aspects of the Position:
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
Visa Requirements:

Must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
