Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intermediate Care Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient responses to care. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify health issues and develop effective care plans
  • Prioritize patient and family needs, creating a safe and supportive environment
  • Implement and evaluate care plans, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices, policies, and procedures to provide high-quality care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current and valid nursing license
  • BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role
