Job Summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with colleagues to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans to address patient needs.
  • Prioritize patient and family needs, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain open communication with the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive care plan, leveraging expertise and resources to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and community members to empower informed healthcare decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices, laws, and regulations, ensuring compliance and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current and valid nursing license.
  • Specialized field of study in nursing, with a focus on cardiac and stroke care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
