A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SUPPORT AGENT

As a vital member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include handling inbound and outbound calls. You will actively listen to customers, gather necessary information, and provide them with essential details about our services. Accurate note-taking and message documentation are crucial aspects of this role, and you will balance these tasks while maintaining clear communication over the phone. Additionally, you will assist in scheduling appointments and processing orders while ensuring all interactions are logged appropriately.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CUSTOMER SUPPORT AGENT
  • Residing in AL, FL, GA, KS, SC, TX, or VA
  • Typing speed of 40+ words per minute with minimal errors
  • Ability to follow directions effectively
  • Capability to type and speak simultaneously
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
TELEPHONY REQUIREMENTS
- A reliable landline or cellular phone with excellent reception
- A wired headset is preferred; wireless headsets are acceptable if they provide at least 8 hours of continuous use without connectivity issues.

COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS
- Processor: Pentium i5 Quad-core (or equivalent)
- Memory (RAM): Minimum 8GB
- Hard Drive: Minimum 100GB
- Must support dual monitors with appropriate outputs
- Device should be less than 3 years old

Operating System:
- Microsoft Windows 10 or newer

Monitors:
- Primary monitor: Minimum 15” with 1920x1080 resolution
- Secondary monitor: 1920x1080 resolution

Installed Software:
- Windows Defender for antivirus
- Malwarebytes as the only permitted anti-malware software

Computer Peripheral Requirements:
- Webcam
- Plug and Play mouse and keyboard without additional software
- Approved USB headset

Internet Requirements:
- Stable Cable or Fiber Ethernet connection with minimum speeds of 50MBps download and 10MBps upload
- Submission of a current internet bill with your address is required
- Wireless internet connections, including Wi-Fi, are not permitted.
