Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

Piedmont Columbus Midtown seeks a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform CT studies and diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT studies and diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures
  • Adhere to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and A.L.A.R.A. programs
  • Perform quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records and provide patient care functions utilizing established protocols and techniques
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiological Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in (CT) or as Registered nuclear technologist with either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear) ARRT (N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB-CNMT)
Additional Requirements:
  • BLS Certified
  • Thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals
