Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Piedmont Columbus Midtown. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using nuclear medicine and/or nuclear cardiology techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct quality control procedures to ensure accurate and safe results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of procedures and results.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Registered with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a nuclear medicine department.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records and imaging software.
