About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Brand Advertising and Global Social Media Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that drive top-of-mind awareness of AWS and shape the perception of the brand worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and report social media performance metrics to define and implement social media goals, strategies, and content requirements.
  • Manage daily meetings with stakeholders to ensure a thriving social experience for developers and meet business objectives.
  • Create high-quality content, such as videos, blog posts, or podcasts, targeted at engineers and technical end-users to increase adoption of new products and features.
  • Work with our Marketing team to create and publish product-focused social media and newsletter content.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives to shape the perception of the AWS brand.
About the Team

The Brand Advertising and Global Social Media Team drives top-of-mind awareness of AWS through custom content and acts as a megaphone to share key messages through visual storytelling across mass-reach channels.

Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Tableau.
  • Experienced social media marketing manager.
