We are seeking a seasoned Senior Marketing Manager to join our Social Advertising team at Amazon. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating successful automated advertising programs, executing well-structured tests, and scaling up successful strategies.

The Social Advertising team is focused on leveraging all viable social media advertising platforms to grow Amazon businesses. As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for assessing marketing capabilities, prioritizing new strategies to test with, running experiments and preliminary marketing campaigns, and scaling up successful strategies.

The primary objectives of this role include acquiring new customers, encouraging customers to take high-value actions, and directly generating revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering to develop new automated programs from end to end.
  • Define experimental frameworks and optimize campaign set-ups for driving meaningful insights.
  • Define the metrics and processes needed to standardize the management of advertising campaigns.
  • Work directly with social networks to understand platform capabilities and explore marketing campaigns.
  • Design and carry out well-structured experiments (including tracking, measuring, and reporting).
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and teams to iterate on objectives and opportunities.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market.
