About the Job

As a Parts Back Counterperson at Western Star Northwest, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for handling all parts requests, processing orders, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. You will work closely with our purchasing agent to monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle all parts requests and process orders using company software systems.
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, including regular cleaning and organization of storage areas.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify the purchasing agent when below standard stocking levels.
  • Assemble parts from stock and prepare them for shipping or storage.
  • Utilize appropriate hand tools to safely open crates and other containers.
  • Assist in counting physical inventory as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient maintenance of inventory records.
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with 2-3 years of warehouse experience, preferably with customer service experience. Fork-lift certification is required after hire.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and proficiency in computer operations is essential. Good communication and organizational skills are also necessary.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
