Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our Edmonds, WA community. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and promoting their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:- Conduct regular wellness visits for all residents to assess their health and identify any potential issues.
- Monitor and follow up with residents who have experienced falls, accidents, or incidents, and document and report as required.
- Assist the Resident Care Director (RCD) in conducting resident evaluations and gathering information at move-in, 30 days post-move-in, semi-annually, and with any change in status.
- Document all pertinent information in the resident wellness file and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate with residents' families and responsible parties to ensure their medical needs are being met.
- Collaborate with the RCD and community team to promote infection control standards, including resident testing, training, and skills checks.
- Regularly monitor each resident's medication and treatment profile to ensure accurate administration and documentation.
- Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
- Current state license as a professional Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN).
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, possess written and verbal skills for effective communication, and demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
