Job Summary

College of the Canyons is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor of Photography (Fine Art) to join our faculty pool. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching photography courses and contributing to the development of our fine arts program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach photography courses to students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and creativity
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and program goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Photography, Fine Arts, or Art, or a related field
  • Experience teaching photography courses at the community college level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to student-centered learning and community engagement
