About the Role

Cirrus Aircraft is seeking a highly skilled Liaison Engineer to join our team in Duluth, Minnesota. As a Liaison Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our aircraft manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for coordinating activities to evaluate and resolve engineering-related production problems, working closely with quality control, material, manufacturing, and other department personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to maintain current knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities in assigned areas.
  • Confer with quality control, material, manufacturing, and other department personnel to provide technical support and facilitate correction of errors on drawings and documents identified during manufacturing operations.
  • Investigate reports of defective, damaged, or malfunctioning parts, assemblies, equipment, or systems to determine nature and scope of problem and formulate corrective action plan.
  • Maintain records or oversee recording of information by others to ensure engineering drawings and documents are current and that engineering-related production problems and resolutions are documented.
  • Serve as member of material review board to determine disposition of defective or damaged parts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field (or equivalent) required.
  • Aircraft systems design, integration, installation, testing, and certification experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft, automotive, or consumer electrical and avionics systems desired.
  • Hands-on experience with materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Previous MRB Authority preferred.
