Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Avamere Rehabilitation of Beaverton. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation team.
About the RoleAs a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement and execute patient treatment plans. You will communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and executing patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Communicating with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Providing timely written documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- Developing and enhancing clinical and professional skills through ongoing education and training
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum
- Able to practice unencumbered
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources
- Full knowledge of resident's rights
- Exudes professionalism in presentation
- Ability to multitask
- Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
- CPR certification
