Outpatient Physical Therapist, On-Call Day, Clackamas

As a Physical Therapist with Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our outpatient clinics. You will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to provide comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise and clinical judgment will be essential in helping patients achieve their maximum potential and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluations and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical status, functional abilities, and age-specific needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address patients' goals and objectives.
- Therapy Delivery: Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and departmental guidelines. Ensure timely and effective treatment, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination. Collaborate with other disciplines to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments and best practices by attending continuing education sessions and participating in departmental in-services.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
- Licensure: Current Physical Therapist License in Washington and Oregon. National Provider Identifier required at hire. Basic Life Support certification within 2 months of hire.
- Skills: Basic to moderate computer skills, knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology, and equipment operation.
- Orthopedic Skills: Experience in orthopedic physical therapy, including assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Group Dynamics: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and facilitate group therapy sessions.
- Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating various physical therapy equipment, including modalities and exercise equipment.
This on-call position will split time between Tualatin and Sunnyside outpatient clinics, requiring flexibility and adaptability in scheduling and patient care delivery.
