Piper Maddox is seeking a highly skilled Plant Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art hydrogen production facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our hydrogen gas equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on hydrogen gas equipment, including flanged systems, compressor rebuilds, gaskets, and medium pressure fittings.
- Equipment Performance Monitoring: Monitor equipment performance and recommend suitable parts for performance upgrades, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety.
- Company Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain company service truck (F-550) and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Urgent Response: Respond promptly to repair issues outside normal working hours, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production schedules.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma required, Technical Degree or Military Experience preferred, along with 3+ years of professional experience.
- Technical Skills: Mechanical, electrical (+24VDC), and controls experience, with ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and single line drawings.
- Previous Experience: Previous exposure to compression systems, pressure vessels and piping, and instrumentation, with hydrogen, industrial gas, gas chromatograph, and analytical experience a plus.
- Citizenship: US Citizenship required, with no sponsorship available at this time.
