Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring all production equipment and facilities are operating in the safest, most productive electro-mechanical condition. This includes implementing continuous improvements, supporting new system installations, production strategies, and plant reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the facility equipment and its operation to comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot failures, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, building, and all associated equipment.
- Ensure all work orders and log information is complete and accurate in a timely manner.
- Maintain parts inventory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address concerns and issues that affect quality, production efficiency, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience operating fork trucks, personnel lifts, etc.
- Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing.
- Experience and knowledge of PLCs.
- Ability to design and fabricate using materials such as sheet and structural metals, both ferrous and non-ferrous, plastics, etc.
- Experience operating machine tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
- Good attention to detail, organizational skills are necessary, and a strong safety orientation.
- Graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Development (GED).
Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in an indoor, fast-paced, hot production environment at varying heights. Ability to work under stressful conditions such as heat, cold, high, and/or confined spaces and have full mobility with the ability to climb ladders and stairs and do repetitive bending and twisting. Employee will need to be able to lift 65 lbs.
