Nuclear Medicine Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Supervisor to join our team at the University of California. This is a leadership position that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage and supervise a team of nuclear medicine technologists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of nuclear medicine technologists, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Organize and coordinate the workflow in the department, ensuring that patients are seen in a timely manner and that all procedures are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to improve patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements:
  • Current California CNMT certification.
  • Experience in nuclear medicine and associated modalities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical center, HR, and UC policies and processes.
