We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Midco Rural Internet. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues with our internet and cable services.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns regarding billing and services.
- Answer questions and educate customers on our services and features.
- Listen and collaborate with customers to maintain their business and create a positive customer relationship.
- Record customer transactions accurately and document each contact.
- Prepare work orders for customer-related issues and follow up with customers in a timely manner.
- Support field technicians by answering questions, troubleshooting, and documenting during install and trouble call service appointments.
- Serve as Midco Rural Internet's professional representative when communicating with customers.
- Train and develop your skills to support customer demand.
- Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility, and confidentiality in carrying out customer service functions.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
- Adhere to Midco Rural Internet's privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's privacy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Basic typing and email skills required.
- Comfortable using technology, including the internet and applications.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced work environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Must remain at workstation for long periods of time.
- Extremely time-sensitive to meet customer demand.
- Heavy keyboard/mouse usage required with repetitive movements.
- Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week.
- Most shifts are outside normal business hours, and include rotating holidays, evenings, and weekends as business demands.
