**Director of Environmental Services Operations**, Montgomery, AL

Crothall Healthcare, a leading provider of specialized support services to the healthcare industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Environmental Services Operations to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in advising and leading all aspects of the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the financial management of the department, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor and analyze departmental expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
- Develop and implement departmental operating budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate housekeeping activities and ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate effectively with administration, hospital departments, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and cooperation.
- Plan, prioritize, direct, coordinate, and supervise functions and activities of the department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Establish and maintain work standards and workflows to optimize departmental performance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for departmental operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory agencies' guidelines and standards.
- Drive the achievement of facility goals and objectives, demonstrating quality leadership in meeting performance plans.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions for department staff, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational expectations.
- Encourage staff participation in education programs, promoting professional development and growth.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, hospitality management, or environmental health.
- Minimum three years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret financial and operational data, making informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
- Strong business acumen, with a general understanding of financial management and operations.
- Excellent social skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, administration, and external partners.
- High customer service and quality demeanor, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff, as well as drive business results.
- Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
