We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Northwell Health's South Oaks Campus. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, conduct research, and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Psychological Assessments: Administer and interpret psychological assessments to determine the nature of patient problems and recommend treatment.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement treatment plans in accordance with accepted principles of psychotherapy, taking into account patient age, medical condition, and functional status.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with referring counselors, rehabilitation counselors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document Patient Interventions: Accurately document patient interventions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with department and hospital policies.
- Perform Administrative Tasks: Manage correspondence, attend meetings, maintain records, and perform other administrative duties as required.
- Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.): Required degree for this position.
- Current License to Practice as a Psychologist in New York State: Required for this role.
- Specialized Certifications: As needed.
- 1-3 Years of Relevant Experience: Required for this position.
This is a fully in-person role, and the office is located in Amityville. The salary range for this position is $85,090-$147,220/year.
