Clinical Care Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Care Specialist to join our team in Kleberg Med/Surg Telemetry/Pediatrics, a 32-bed unit providing comprehensive care to patients from infants to geriatric patients.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience, as well as 1+ years of experience in a related nursing specialty. A competitive salary of $84,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, is offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient needs, developing and implementing specific plans of care tailored to individual needs.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, ensuring accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to a culture of excellence in patient care.
  • Maintain current certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, TCAR, CPI), adhering to industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in related nursing specialty preferred.
  • RN License in state of employment or compact.
  • Current certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, TCAR, CPI).
