Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Coordinator to join our Infusion team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of infusion medications to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the care of infusion patients with primary care physicians, specialists, pharmacies, and caregivers.
  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, blood transfusions, and other medications while monitoring laboratory levels and patient response.
  • Verify physician orders to ensure accuracy and consistency with treatment plans.
  • Provide medication education to patients and caregivers, including side effect management and treatment schedules.
  • Collect blood samples via phlebotomy or peripheral/central access.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of clinical experience, preferably in infusion, oncology, and/or chemotherapy.
  • Certification(s): State of Alaska Registered Nurse, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Oncology Certified Nurse (ONS) Chemotherapy Certificate within 3 months of hire.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
