About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to fill the role of Workplace Suicide Prevention Program Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as we strive to make a positive impact in our community.

This position requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop relationships with diverse groups and individuals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention, as well as experience working with high-risk populations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily functioning of the Workplace Suicide Prevention program, ensuring effective delivery of services and outreach efforts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including DPH, third-party vendors, and funders.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and presentations on suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and update service materials, including PowerPoints, handouts, and other educational resources.
  • Conduct outreach efforts to high-risk groups, such as first responders and construction workers.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a compassionate manner with individuals who have experienced highly stressful events or situations.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention.
  • Comfort and experience presenting to large audiences.
