About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional outpatient care to patients. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve optimal physical function and quality of life.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to conduct patient assessments, administer therapy interventions, and develop effective home exercise programs. Responsibilities
  • Administer physical therapy interventions as planned and directed by the physical therapist
  • Instruct and assist patients with therapeutic exercises and modalities
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Develop and document comprehensive assessments and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance or related field
  • Less than 1 year of experience in physical therapy or related field
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Texas
  • BLS certification
