Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify physical and functional deficits, utilizing your expertise and clinical knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the patient's physician and nursing staff to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care that aligns with the patient's goals and facilitates their return to their desired level of function.
  • Provide individualized treatment interventions, incorporating evidence-based techniques and utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and ensure timely recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families about the therapeutic process, empowering them to actively participate in their own rehabilitation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in physical therapy research, techniques, and technologies, continuously enhancing your clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of physical therapy principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Empathy and compassion to provide patient-centered care and support during the rehabilitation process.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle a diverse caseload and prioritize patient needs.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient documentation.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
