Clinical Nurse Coordinator PICU Position

Educate and develop as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. In this role, you will oversee the management of nursing staff, coordinate patient care services, and collaborate with other members of the management team to advance the practice of nursing and improve positive outcomes for your patients.

Responsibilities:
* Manage and direct nursing staff in the PICU* Coordinate patient care services, including admission and discharge processes* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care* Collaborate with other members of the management team to develop and implement nursing strategies* Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff* Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor resources in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines* Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment
Requirements:
* Minimum of three years clinical practice in the clinical specialty of assigned unit* Must be willing to work full-time* Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred* Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho required* BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred* Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve quality patient outcomes* Strong leadership and communication skills* Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
