About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our team at Hedrick's Chevrolet. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell new and used vehicles to customers, meeting sales targets and exceeding customer satisfaction standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive experience at our dealership.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to set and meet sales quotas, and to develop strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products, features, and accessories, and be able to explain their benefits to customers.
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections and road tests, and deliver vehicles to customers after purchase.
  • Utilize the delivery of new or used vehicles to create an event that will facilitate customer loyalty to the dealership.
  • Conduct telephone transactions courteously and promptly, and utilize a consistent quotation process for purchases, trade-ins, and vehicle sales.
  • Move and arrange display vehicles on the showroom and on the lot as directed by management.
  • Deal with customer complaints in a sensible manner, showing empathy and a pleasant attitude to show our commitment to excellent customer service and to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Sales license.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, with frequent customer interactions and sales targets to meet. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, and will be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
