About the Role

The Midas Store Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing business operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and profitability. This position is responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction, fostering business growth, cost control, inventory management, environmental compliance, and above all, safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule, and coach employees to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and advising customers, following up on services requested, and communicating pricing estimates.
  • Operational Oversight: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, make detailed repair recommendations, create repair orders, and source parts to ensure efficient operations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, minimize losses, ensure facility cleanliness, and maintain environmental compliance.
  • Financial Management: Oversee sales, accounting, and administrative tasks, including Service Advisors, and compile and submit daily sales reports to Corporate.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a store or service manager in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong automotive knowledge and proficiency in POS systems, computers, and Internet usage.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service orientation, effective communication skills, demonstrated leadership and teambuilding capabilities, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Education: A college degree or relevant coursework is preferred.
